“We are a close knit family of talented and driven individuals with a focus on quality, integrity, and honesty.”
Who We Are
Premier Integrated Technologies is the largest service company focused on well optimization products and services in the Canadian market. We offer our clients cutting-edge oil & gas optimization equipment and cover all of your well enhancement needs. We are proud well optimization experts with a focus on customers, quality, and customizability.
What We Do
Our skills are specific and fine-tuned. We’re specialists, not generalists. We offer local field expertise, fit-for-purpose equipment and cost-effective solutions for completion, workover, and production optimization applications. We are an industry leader in the design and operation of oil and gas production enhancement equipment, services and engineering.
Why We Do It
That’s easy. We exist to create and deliver the best optimization service to enrich your well. We found the market to be lacking, so we took it upon ourselves to develop our own standards. With a focus on delivering premium quality solutions, in-house engineering for the most demanding environments, and industry-leading design, we exist because no one else even comes close.
People Over Profits
It’s not about the $$$
Relationships are our gold standard. We want to work with good people. Success, for us, is measured by positive experiences and not the bottom dollar. Because of this, we strive to surround ourselves with smart and dedicated employees and clients. We value those who will grow our minds and hearts, not just our wallets.
Quality Over Quantity
Less is more
We concentrate our time and talent on high standards over mass production. A greater investment on our part, but we know it’s worth it. We’ve adopted our own in-house engineering, designing, and manufacturing. It helps us to be sure we’re producing diamonds, not churning out manure.
Keep It Simple
Because it is simple
We keep our operations simple. Because simple equals clear and clear equals understandable and executable. We apply this concept to every aspect of our business. From our office to our services, we subscribe to the sheer strength of simplicity.
Make It Better
There’s always room for improvement
The value that remains continuous in our thoughts. A defined intention across every single touchpoint of our business. Improvement is the proverbial carrot driving our decision-making and, ultimately, our end product.
Our Management Team
President and CEO
As one of MVM’s co-owners, Stephen brings over 22 years of oil and gas experience to the manufacturing table. With a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and several years working as a Coil Tubing Expert and Staff Engineer in exciting places such as North Africa and Scotland, Stephen became a co-owner of PIT in 2000. He now serves as MVM Machining, KEI, and PIT’s President and CEO.
Steve comes from a long background of farming and oil and gas production operation. He formed PIT (Premier Production Solutions at the time) in 2000 with Stephen Maerz and another partner. Over the years, Steve has brought new and previously unseen technology to the oil and gas optimization sectors, allowing PIT to surge above and beyond their competitors. Steve continues to lead PIT, MVM, and KEI with confidence and integrity to this day.
Andrew Alcock began as Journeyman mechanic, then in Oil and Gas work force he has held various training and service management roles offering 22 years of experience. Andrew started his career with PIT as a field technician in 2003. As he worked his way up through the company as Area Manager, to General Manager of Canadian Operations positions, he witnessed and helped to manage the changes from PIT to Canadian / US ownership and back to the hands of the two founders again. Today, he focuses on PIT’s North American Operations and Business Development.
Oil Services Manager
Like many of PIT’s management team, Devin Swanson started from a Farm background and then delved into various Oil and Gas operations and service roles. As a NAIT Petroleum Engineering Technologist with 14 years of experience as a Production Engineer, we were happy to have Devin join our team. Devin joined our company in 2005 and has also seen it though its evolutions in a pivotal role for PIT’s survival. Promoted to Oil and Regulatory Services Manager in 2010, Devin is a vital asset to our Company on top of overseeing our Oil and Regulatory Department’s work and development as well as technical sales lead.
Brett Kroetsch recently celebrated his 5th anniversary with PIT. Coming from a history of customer service, public speaking, and oil and gas operations, Brett was an obvious addition to our team. As our Technical Manager, Brett focuses on customer service and problem-solving. He is often one of our representatives found at trade shows, conferences, and networking events, as well as a frequent supervisor of installation and inspection crews.
Inventory and Supply Chain Manager
Boasting 10 years of supply chain management, project management, and team building, Mark Sutherland joined the PIT Crew in the spring of 2005 and has only increased his skills since then. Currently holding the role of Supply Chain Manager and Inventory Manager, Mark is our toughest contract negotiator when it comes to suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors.
PIT is the exclusive Canadian representative for a number of leading edge gas products, such as the Pacemaker Plunger System, Pit Boss optimizing controller, MVM conventional plunger system, and GasMaker TM line.
