    BHS Assembly (Patent Pending)

  • old compression rate of 265 psi/in2: total compression of coils equaled ~800
  • new style is about 3 inches less of inconel coil, but more travel per square inch at 310 psi/in2
  • accomplished by adding the bellville washer kit in the cage, giving the spring a total compression rating of 3100 psi/in2
  • the spring is designed to engage ~70% of the washer pack for total compression
